HEALTH SERVICES
High quality specialized medical services are provided for both seafarers and land based personnel of shipping or other companies.
The Medical Occupational Maritime Center is staffed by well-trained and experienced medical personnel certified and duly authorized for pre employment medical examination of seafarers in accordance to the MLC 2006 and STCW and the issue of the medical health certificate.
The Seafarers’ Health Certificate for Signing on is issued in accordance to the MLC2006 and STCW as well as the new European Union Crew Guidelines and is valid to all countries of the world.
We also provide direct access to specialized doctors, dentists and clinics / hospitals.

Substance abuse testing (DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST)
Qualitative and quantitative control of drugs and alcohol. Drug and alcohol testing is carried out at the Medical Occupational Maritime Center or onboard by qualified medical personnel. The results of drug tests carried out on board are given immediately.
The service can be part of a pre-employment screening program, a random unannounced sample collection or after an incident.
The drug test list may include among others the control of the following substances:

Seafarers Medical Certificate for signing on in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention MLC 2006 and STCW.
- Same day issue of the Seafarers’ Medical Health Certificate by authorized
doctors - Clinical, ophthalmological and acoometrical examination
- Further investigation ( laboratory tests, ECG, Triplex, Ultrasound, CT scan, etc) available if indicated
